We support and create preventive measures to counteract environmental problems, take initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility and are at the forefront of encouraging and disseminating environmentally friendly technology. Chemical-free cleaning methods
We strive for purity in the truest sense of the word utilizing our secret tool for a chemical-free cleaning, filtered super-water. Whether we are shining marble, scrubbing concrete, cleaning old wooden floors, or cleaning the stains on carpets – everything we do is with a deionized water. Using ordinary tap water, processed to turns into ultra-pure water and becomes soft, you can clean all kinds of surfaces completely without chemical products.
Waste disposal
We are responsible for ensuring that the products we sort and collect are recycled and reused in an environmentally sound manner. The recycling process is carried out in cooperation with the country’s largest treatment facilities. It is also of the utmost importance that all our employees are trained in waste management, sorting and recycling.
UN Global Goal 14
Efmab works constructively to meet and participate in the UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL 14 Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development – a goal to ensure global systems that makes the earth habitable for humanity. The ocean covers 70 percent of our planet and over three million people depend on the marine and coastal biodiversity for their livelihood. How we handle our oceans is crucial for mankind and for balancing the effects of climate change.
Our certificates
Environmental Certification
The environmental management system ISO 14001 helps us to systematically minimize the negative impact on the global environment as well as our local environment. It gives us a framework for keeping track of laws and improving our environmental performance, such as identifying risks, analysis, goals and measurement. The certification also means that we are reviewed annually by external environment and quality auditor from Nemko. At Efmab, in turn, we control our subcontractors so that they comply with applicable law requirements ISO 14001, the most common and globally recognized standard.
Quality Management
ISO 9001 is a management system standard for business processes in a company where a management system describes how to continuously improve and adjust its operations to meet customer needs. ISO 9001 is based on 7 principles: document management, customer focus leadership, employee engagement, process focus, improvement, fact-based decisions and relationship management.
